Bright Horizons

my second entry in *FrozenStarRo and =flordelys's Visual Sentiments contest. click for more info.

this piece illustrates hope. i wanted to keep this pretty simple and straightforward. again, obvious symbolism: white and blue tones, wings, light breeze, the chinese symbol for hope (!) and, of course, the bright horizon. i enjoyed working on this piece. i hope you'll like it!
oh and the hair... i painted it. i will get that right someday.
